Mungo Homes is the builder of the new home community of Sessions Point. Michael J. Mungo started building homes in the Columbia, South Carolina area in 1954, and still today, the Mungo family is involved in the day-to-day operations of the new home building business. Many of their team members live and play in the communities where they build so you’re likely to bump into them at the grocery store, a football game, or the gym, and they take care of you just as well after the close as during the buying process. Mungo Homes is now a division of the Clayton Home Building Group and a Berkshire Hathaway company.

There will be 90 single family homes developed in the new home community of Sessions Point. As of March 2025, approximately 60 single family homes have been developed and sold or are under contract.

Sessions Point features open floorplans, spacious lots and even select waterfront lots. Plans range from 1,600 to more than 3,000 square feet and include up to six bedrooms. Most plans include a designated home office, flex or bonus room, or extra bedroom perfect for homeschooling or when working from home.
